Description

You will work with process design engineers and equipment manufacturers to develop and commission production packaging automation solutions for Starlink's in-house semiconductor packaging. You will own automation and test projects from ideation to handoff, including code development for PLC/SCADA/MES systems and ensuring machine safety and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or related discipline
• Programming experience in C, C++, Visual Basic, Python, IEC Structured Text, Java, or Jython
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage automation projects from ideation through commissioning and handoff
• Architect, write, and debug code for PLC/SCADA/MES systems for high-volume manufacturing
• Ensure machine compliance with electrical, mechanical, and robot safety requirements
• Generate intuitive HMI/SCADA screens for complex machinery
• Create project schedules and budgets and motivate the team to achieve them
