Description
As a Sales Engineer at Cato Networks, you will serve as the technical resource for the field sales force in Southern California, driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. You'll build relationships, explain product positioning to business and technical users, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience with network/cloud security products
- Proven track record in software sales
- Comprehensive understanding of networking technology (LAN, WAN, switching, routing, security, cloud)
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Organized, analytical, creative, and adaptive in approach
Responsibilities
- Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations
- Present the product at field events such as conferences and seminars
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
