Description

You will receive and accession patient specimens, enter data into the LIMS database, and transport samples to the DNA extraction or cell culture team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality control policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; AS/BS in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred
• Strong computer and typing skills (typing test required)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage patient specimens
• Assign accession numbers and create patient charts
• Enter patient information into LIMS database with HIPAA compliance
• Transport accessioned specimens to extraction or cell culture teams
• Adhere to quality control policies and document activities
