You'll lead Voxel's applied ML work, setting technical direction and building a team that turns modern vision methods into production systems. You'll ship weekly, debug in real warehouses, and own outcomes from customer problem to deployed model as part of a fast-moving, hands-on team that runs the loop end to end. What stands out: you'll see your code running in 200 facilities weeks after you train it.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set technical direction for Voxel's vision and ML capabilities.
• Hire and lead a small team of applied ML engineers.
• Stay hands-on with coding, architecture decisions, and model reviews.
• Work directly with product, sales, and customers to ship solutions.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building applied ML systems in production.
• Strong Python skills across training, deployment, and inference.
• Fluent with modern vision and multimodal methods (detection, segmentation, tracking, VLMs).
• Bias toward shipping: prioritize delivering good results quickly.

✨ Nice to Have

• Production experience with video understanding or activity recognition.
• Worked in high-stakes domains (robotics, AVs, industrial, medical).
• Built fast iteration loops with eval-in-the-loop and multi-site deployment.
