Description

Join Abnormal's Data Platform team to build and operate large-scale distributed systems processing billions of data points daily. You will work on storage and retrieval infrastructure for the Aggregates Platform, partner with customer teams, and contribute to building the team through excellent interview practices.

Requirements

• Experience with building and operating distributed systems at high scale
• Experience with streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark, Map/Reduce or similar)
• Experience with large scale data storage systems (DynamoDB, Aerospike, Redis, Databricks)
• 3-5 years of overall software engineering experience
• Strong sense of best practices in developing software

Responsibilities

• Build out storage and retrieval infrastructure for our Aggregates Platform
• Work on scalability, reliability and cost optimization projects
• Partner with customer teams to understand use cases and scale requirements
• Help build the team through excellent interview practices
