Description

You will lead daily operations of high-volume solar cell production lines, driving aggressive ramp-up and sustained output to meet demanding schedules. You'll own end-to-end performance metrics including yield, throughput, and cost-per-watt, while building and developing a high-performing team. This role directly enables SpaceX's ambitious vision for AI data centers in space.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM discipline; OR 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing/operations teams
• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/operations environment
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position
• Ability to travel internationally (20%)
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirement)

• Lead daily operations of high-volume solar cell production lines
• Own end-to-end performance metrics including yield, throughput, cycle time, and cost-per-watt
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of production supervisors, specialists, technicians, and associates
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Champion safety culture, ergonomic practices, and regulatory compliance
