💼 About This Role

You'll lead the architecture and implementation of shared security primitives across Veeam Data Cloud, driving a unified security strategy. You'll translate high-level security goals into a concrete engineering roadmap and help build a dedicated Software Security Engineering platform team. This role offers the chance to shape security for a fast-growing cloud platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement shared security primitives across cloud services
• Define and prioritize the security engineering roadmap
• Write and review production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript
• Establish secure-by-default patterns and shared libraries

📋 Requirements

• Strong coding skills in Golang, Python, or TypeScript
• Extensive experience building distributed, cloud-native systems
• Practical expertise in authentication/authorization and security guardrails
• Proven technical leadership in architecture and mentoring

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building platform security teams providing shared services
• Background in multi-tenant SaaS and large-scale control planes
• Familiarity with zero trust and policy-as-code practices
