💼 About This Role

You'll re-imagine and design hardware for autonomous heavy construction equipment at Built Robotics. You'll have broad responsibility for scaling hardware systems and testing reliability in harsh field conditions. This role offers the chance to work on 80,000-pound autonomous robots.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design mounts using dynamic and vibration engineering principles
• Analyze vibration and shock data to increase equipment reliability
• Create robust manufacturing processes for AI guidance systems
• Perform installations on equipment across the US and Australia
• Debug and resolve complex hardware issues with software and field teams

📋 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in mechanical engineering or related field
• 2+ years using a CAD software design package (e.g. Solidworks, Onshape, Fusion 360)
• 2+ years in electrical design
