💼 About This Role

You'll build and maintain EMI-EMC test capabilities for next-generation space stations at Vast, ensuring spacecraft and avionics meet stringent industry standards. You will develop test procedures and directly support EMI-EMC testing of Vast spacecraft and components. This role offers the opportunity to shape a team from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain EMI-EMC test capabilities from the ground up.
• Implement tailored industry standards for spacecraft and avionics.
• Develop EMI-EMC test procedures.
• Support EMI-EMC testing of spacecraft and components.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in an EMI-EMC related role.
• 7+ years of experience in MIL-STD-461 / DO-160 test.
• Experience with digital communications buses such as Ethernet, RS-422, PCIe, GMII.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with software development for EMI-EMC test automation.
• Experience with space charging for spacecraft, triboelectrification, grounding bonding.
• Electronics prototyping skills such as soldering, breadboarding, troubleshooting.
