Description
You will develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for drone-based applications like object detection, collision avoidance, and real-time tracking. You'll also create data pipelines for training ML models, collaborate with engineers, and integrate models with hardware.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (PhD is a plus)
- Proven experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent
- Experience with CNN, Object Detectors and Tracking
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++
- Experience with OpenCV or other computer vision libraries
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying CV models in real-world aerial scenarios
- Hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership
- Systematic approach to complex problems with documented results
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Design and implement computer vision algorithms for drone-based applications such as object detection, collision avoidance, and real-time tracking
- Create streamlined pipelines for data collection, training, and validation of machine learning models
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to refine and optimize models for aerial scenarios
- Partner with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of computer vision models with drone systems
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision technologies and research, especially aerial applications
- Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and contribute to team discussions
