Description

You will lead the development of CMT's Telematics Foundation Model and related variants, overseeing sub-teams in AI Modeling and AI Ops. You will balance near-term customer delivery with long-term R&D, turning ML advances into practical capabilities across the platform, products, and customer solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, ML, Statistics, Math, Engineering or related field
• 9+ years experience in ML, data science, applied research, software engineering or related
• 5+ years management experience leading high-performing technical teams
• Strong foundation in deep learning, representation learning, supervised and self-supervised learning
• Experience building and operating production-grade ML systems at scale

Responsibilities

• Lead Foundation Models function including Modeling and AI Ops, setting direction and developing team members
• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for Telematics Foundation Model and related variants
• Lead end-to-end model development including data strategy, pretraining, fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment, monitoring
• Build, grow, and retain a high-performing team, mentoring senior contributors and technical leaders
• Balance current customer commitments with forward-looking R&D, managing scope, pace, and quality
