💼 About This Role

You'll partner with our Risk engineering team to define and prioritize payment products embedded into client software. You'll own delivery of product initiatives and help build out integrations, dashboards, and automations for merchant underwriting and fraud monitoring. This role offers significant autonomy in a venture-backed fintech startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and document product goals, requirements, and constraints
• Attend agile meetings and communicate product stories to engineering team
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Work with vendors to ensure integration accuracy

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years as a Product Owner or similar role
• Knowledge of payment processing and/or PayFac including risk functions
• Experience with automation for risk (scoring, machine learning, data pipelines)
• Proven experience in gathering requirements and creating user stories

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Product Management concepts (roadmaps, strategy, market research)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related field
