Description

You will lead the Avionics Production team, driving lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality production of avionics systems for rockets. Your work directly impacts the success of Terran R launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Strong understanding of avionics manufacturing including PCBA, harness fabrication, and electronics box assemblies
• Background in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality management systems
• Experience scaling low-volume or pilot production lines to high volume

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide the Production team while defining key projects, goals, and initiatives
• Identify production gaps and inefficiencies using lean manufacturing expertise
• Advocate for tools, systems, and processes to enhance performance
• Drive continuous improvement across the production floor
• Mentor the growing engineering team to achieve operational excellence
