Description
You will lead public policy efforts across Mexico and the Caribbean and Central America region for Airbnb, developing and executing integrated strategies to protect and grow the host community. You'll manage a diverse team, collaborate cross-functionally, and represent Airbnb at senior political levels and in the media.
Requirements
- At least 12 years working with complex political or regulatory issues in business, NGO, or government.
- Senior leadership experience with track record of developing diverse multidisciplinary teams.
- At least 8 years proven ability in core management skills (delegation, performance management, coaching, talent development).
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience developing campaigns including paid/earned media and mobilization to influence policy.
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical and regulatory issues.
- Expert communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse team of campaign and government relations experts.
- Develop and drive comprehensive strategies for Mexico and CCA region.
- Communicate policy outcomes and progress to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with communications, business leadership, legal, and compliance.
- Represent Airbnb at senior political levels and as primary media spokesperson in the region.
