Description

Lead global sourcing for radio and wireless systems commodities, developing strategies to secure critical components for defense products. You will collaborate with engineering and contract manufacturers to influence designs, negotiate best-in-class agreements, and drive cost, quality, and supply chain improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years experience in supply chain category management of radio manufacturing or sourcing RF components
• Ability to travel up to 50% and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA
• Preferred: Bachelor's in electrical engineering
• Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industry

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for radio components focusing on cost, quality, and supply resilience
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing for electromechanical commodities
• Own supplier relationships and manage continuity of supply, risk, and cost negotiations
• Partner with engineering to influence technical design and manufacturing requirements
• Conduct regular technology reviews and manage supplier performance metrics
