Description

In this role, you will use data to tell the story of Gusto's risk posture to leadership and regulators, act as a bridge between oversight and product teams, and drive process improvements using AI. You will support exams, audits, and vendor oversight while developing governance reporting and automating workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years financial crime compliance experience at a regulated US financial institution
• Strong analytical skills producing metrics, dashboards, or governance reporting
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, or partner due diligence
• Cross-functional partnership experience with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Legal
• Experience managing issue tracking and remediation workflows

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed financial crime controls early in development
• Lead audit and exam coordination, preparing evidence for regulators and stakeholders
• Support compliance vendor lifecycle including RFPs and performance oversight
• Oversee issue remediation lifecycle, conduct root cause analysis, and execute testing
• Develop recurring oversight metrics and governance reporting; drive AI-enabled solutions
