Description

As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer on Starlink, you will own challenging problems in distributed systems, deployment, and performance to help provide the best satellite internet experience globally. You'll collaborate across programs to build highly operable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, math, or related with 5 years exp, or 7+ years professional exp in lieu of degree
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• 5+ years experience with site reliability or DevOps
• Experience with Kubernetes and Istio
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Upgrade distributed systems to be sharded and geo-redundant across data centers
• Advance deployment, monitoring, and alerting for multi-region environment
• Manage petabyte scale bare metal compute clusters
• Collaborate with engineers to create operable, scalable, maintainable products
• Focus on performance bottlenecks and improvement techniques
