💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Mechanical GSM teams at Skydio, developing and executing commodity sourcing strategies for high-quality drone components. You will drive supply continuity and cost effectiveness while building a resilient, scalable supply chain. This role also owns the company's supply chain and sourcing processes and tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide strategic vision for global supply chain alignment
• Direct team to manage commercial terms, should-cost modeling, and deliveries
• Develop component inventory strategies to support production
• Collaborate with hardware engineering to ensure cost-effective, manufacturable components
• Hire, mentor, and develop a diverse and high-performing team

📋 Requirements

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 8+ years leading a Mechanical Supply Chain organization
• Strategic planning and ability to simplify complex issues
