Description
As a Community Events Manager at Make, you'll scale real-world community events across the US and beyond by empowering passionate users to become local chapter leads. You'll act as a strategic advisor, scouting markets, sourcing leads, and providing tools and guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality, community-led events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field
- 3+ years experience in community operations or field marketing with ambassador/chapter programs
- Proven experience recruiting, training, and motivating community leaders
- Exceptional project management skills managing multiple tasks across time zones
- US-based with willingness to travel for flagship events or chapter launches
Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-impact tech and no-code communities for events
- Source and vet potential Chapter Leads aligning with company culture
- Onboard and train Chapter Leads to host autonomous events meeting brand standards
- Act as primary advisor for Chapter Leads during event planning, providing operational consulting without doing heavy lifting
- Monitor attendance, sentiment, and growth metrics to measure program success
