Description

You will lead the Data Integrations team at Mill, owning the systems that connect Mill's food waste estimates with customers' enterprise data to power AI-driven waste reduction recommendations. You'll design multi-tenant APIs, build integration pipelines, engage directly with customers, and manage a team of engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or integration-heavy backend roles
• 3+ years managing engineers
• Deep experience integrating with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong background in multi-tenant API design, data pipelines, and integration architecture
• Hands-on experience using LLMs to accelerate development workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and build integration layer between Mill and B2B customers' enterprise environments
• Architect and operate enterprise-grade multi-tenant APIs with RBAC, tenant isolation, and webhooks
• Use LLMs to accelerate integration development and extract insights from customer data
• Own schema governance, API versioning, and data contracts across integration touchpoints
• Ensure data security compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA
