You will design and plan outside plant facilities for copper and fiber infrastructure, prepare engineering drawings, and manage permitting and construction coordination. Your work ensures timely, budget-conscious completion of telecommunications projects.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and experienced in OSP engineering
• Strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with standards
• Experience with field measurements and network design
• Proficiency with CAD, Varasset, SiteTracker tools

Responsibilities

• Design and plan OSP facilities for copper/fiber (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and conduct job inspections
• Prepare and submit permit packages to agencies
• Coordinate with utilities and contractors for project completion
