You will join the Servicing International team at Affirm, focusing on building purchase protection features like disputes and refunds for new international markets. You will own quarterly goals, collaborate with global engineering teams, and foster a culture of quality and ownership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience designing and launching backend systems at scale (Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue)
• Ability to define technical plans for significant features with extensible design
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading through ambiguity
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics on product development
• Proactively identify and solve project, process, or technology issues
• Support operations and availability of team artifacts via monitoring and on-call
• Foster quality and ownership culture through code review and design standards
