💼 About This Role

You'll own the design and build of our BigQuery data warehouse and set the standards for the data function. You'll partner with our analyst team to build the analytics platform powering the next stage of the business. This is a hands-on senior IC role with significant architectural scope.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement BigQuery warehouse from the ground up.
• Build transformation layer with dbt and migrate business logic.
• Model master data using dimensional modeling techniques.
• Own ingestion via Firestore integration and Airbyte connectors.
• Partner across org with analysts and engineering teams.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with modern data stack.
• Deep, hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar cloud warehouse.
• Deep, hands-on experience with dbt including project structure and testing.
• Strong dimensional modeling fundamentals (Kimball).
• Strong SQL with ability to refactor complex queries.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Firestore and native BigQuery integration.
• Experience with Airbyte or comparable ingestion tools.
• Experience working with Elastic as a data source.
• Experience designing a metrics catalog or semantic layer.
