💼 About This Role

You'll join the Fraud Strategy team to build a scalable risk platform that mitigates fraud across Navan's Travel business. You'll design real-time services for onboarding, booking, and post-booking activities, partnering directly with data scientists and strategy leads. Your work will power decision engines and close the fraud detection lifecycle through third-party integrations and feedback loops.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and build microservices for real-time fraud detection.
• Integrate third-party fraud vendors and data providers.
• Develop observability dashboards and monitoring tools.
• Own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience building case management systems.
• Exposure to fraud prevention or risk domains.
