You'll be responsible for the thermal design, test, and validation of all Starlink hardware, including phased array antennas, custom silicon, and consumer WiFi. You'll use first-principles analysis to improve performance across extreme environments. This role stands out for its impact on SpaceX's satellite broadband system.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design thermal systems for next-generation phased arrays and gateways
• Simulate and test semiconductor package thermal performance
• Devise and run hardware validation tests in extreme conditions
• Automate workflow and reduce engineering investment in design cycles

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience with mechanical or electromechanical design
• Experience with thermal analysis methods and tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline
• Experience with Thermal Desktop or ANSYS Workbench
• Experience with Flotherm or Icepak for chip thermal design
