💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team building and operating AI-enabled production systems at the intersection of software engineering, reliability engineering, and applied AI. Your core impact is driving the team's roadmap, delivery, and operational excellence while modeling AI-accelerated engineering practices. The role is part of CorpTech Platform, the strategic engine powering Anduril's enterprise systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead a software engineering team building AI-enabled production systems
• Set and drive the team's roadmap across feature delivery and reliability
• Manage, coach, and develop software engineers and tech leads
• Partner with product, AI engineering, platform, and downstream stakeholders
• Establish and reinforce engineering norms around design, code review, testing, and release

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering or reliability engineering including 2+ years managing software engineers
• Proven success managing an engineering team owning production systems end to end
• Strong technical fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability, and cloud infrastructure
• Practical experience with AI-enabled systems and AI-accelerated engineering workflows

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience leading teams combining software engineering with SRE or production engineering
• Experience operationalizing AI-enabled systems in production
