Description

As a Rental Technician, you'll perform repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of Caterpillar equipment in the field. Your work ensures machinery reliability for agriculture, construction, marine, and government clients. You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines and systems while meeting efficiency targets.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years hands-on mechanical repair on diesel engines or earthmoving equipment
Valid CA Driver's License (Class B for field, Class C for shop)
Own set of hand tools for repair and diagnostics
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on uneven terrain

Responsibilities

Perform Caterpillar lubrication maintenance and updates
Diagnose and repair engines, power train components, and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot all Caterpillar and allied product systems
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machinery
Complete work within 110% of Flat Rate targets, with rework under 0.5%
