Description

As a Senior Marketing AI Data Engineer at Samsara, you will architect and maintain complex marketing databases and pipelines, build data infrastructure for AI/ML initiatives, and automate manual tasks using AI to improve marketing efficiency. You will partner with non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data engineering or adjacent role
• Expert Python and SQL knowledge with strong data modeling experience
• Experience engineering data pipelines for AI/ML workloads (LLMs, vector stores, feature engineering)
• Experience building and maintaining Customer Data Platforms or similar data infrastructure
• Proven ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior engineers

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain complex marketing databases, datasets, pipelines and CDP for segmentation, targeting, automation, and analytics
• Design data infrastructure for AI/ML initiatives, including Generative AI pipelines, feature stores, and vector database integrations
• Support execution of conversational BI and Ambient AI within marketing
• Manage high-volume data pipelines, SLAs, and improve efficiency and data quality
• Partner with non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into technical requirements and scalable solutions
