Description

As a Senior Engineer on the Localization Team, you will work on open-source libraries like moz-l10n and Pontoon, and contribute to internationalization features in Firefox and other Mozilla products. You'll engage with standards development and drive feature development to make the internet more accessible across languages and regions.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and modern development workflows
• Experience with open source development practices and community collaboration
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team
• Professional fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Python and JavaScript libraries and tools supporting localization infrastructure
• Improve localization and internationalization within the Firefox codebase
• Design and implement new Pontoon features
• Engage with community of volunteer developers and localizers
• Collaborate with teammates across regions and time zones
