Description
You will steer timelines for large heavy-civil infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, bridges, transit, and airports. Your role involves analyzing CPM schedules, performing risk assessments, and leading alternative scheduling scenarios to keep programs on track.
Requirements
- Expertise in scheduling and risk management for heavy-civil infrastructure projects
- Experience with CPM scheduling, forensic scheduling, and Earned Value Management
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills to guide stakeholders through scheduling complexities
- Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6)
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze CPM schedules, baseline schedules, and monthly updates to identify critical paths, near-critical paths, milestone impacts, and trends
- Collect field progress data, update status weekly or monthly, and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and earned-value forecasts
- Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing options, recovery plans, and alternative delivery scenarios
- Perform schedule-risk assessments using Monte Carlo simulations, recommend contingencies, and track mitigation actions
- Support change orders and claims by preparing Time Impact Analyses that tie delays to cost and contractual entitlement
