Description

You will build scalable backend systems and data pipelines powering Affirm's Card platforms. You'll partner with product and engineering teams to design robust card processing systems ensuring accurate data delivery for accounting, treasury, and finance teams. Your work will enable reconciliations and critical processes across systems and partners.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience
• Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems
• Proficient in Python
• Familiar with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes
• Strong communication skills for global collaboration

Responsibilities

• Break down large projects into individual tasks and deliver in multiple phases
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on technical decisions
• Support operations and availability through monitoring and on-call efforts
• Build and integrate data pipelines from various products and systems
• Build foundational platform for reconciling transactions across systems and partners
