💼 About This Role

You'll join the Liens Levies team at Toast, protecting financial integrity by reviewing and processing legal fund-withholding requests. Your work ensures compliance with legal deadlines while communicating empathetically with customers during stressful situations. This role offers hands-on exposure to legal instruments in a supportive fintech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and assess incoming lien and levy requests for legitimacy and compliance.
• Process approved requests by placing holds or restrictions on customer accounts.
• Draft and send notices to third-party claimants and affected customers.
• Manage a case queue of requests, ensuring timely resolution within legal deadlines.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in account operations or financial services.
• Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing legal documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for sensitive conversations.
• Ability to manage a high-volume case queue with time-sensitive decisions.
