You'll lead safety framework development for autonomous trucking at Waabi. You will create quantitative safety evidence using simulators and real-world data to enable driverless operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Scale safety framework methods and define automated assessment workflows.
• Develop and monitor quantitative metrics against safety targets.
• Optimize test coverage in high-fidelity simulator for safety-critical scenarios.
• Define human performance benchmarks for comparative safety assessments.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years automotive, robotics or related industry experience.
• Experience developing a safety case for autonomous vehicles.
• Knowledge of STPA, SOTIF (ISO 21448), or UL 4600.
• Python and SQL scripting and data analysis skills.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience launching a driverless product.
• Experience in data science and machine learning.
• Experience implementing software systems components.
