You'll define how solar array hardware is built at K2 Space, shaping the vision and architecture from concept to flight-ready production. You'll embed manufacturing into product DNA, ensuring bold ideas become reliable hardware at scale. This role tackles the most complex challenges in yield and scalability, building not just systems but a culture of innovation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and own manufacturing strategy for solar hardware including modules and arrays
• Drive solar array manufacturability at architecture level with Design leadership
• Own technical baseline from process qualifications to assembly specifications
• Lead response to complex manufacturing anomalies and systemic build issues

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, or materials engineering
• 10+ years experience in high-volume manufacturing or production environment
• Recognized technical authority in solar manufacturing and photovoltaic array integration
• Proven ability to shape product designs through DFM influence at architecture level

• Experience scaling solar hardware from development to full-rate production
• Background in advanced manufacturing automation or robotic assembly
• Prior work on space-grade solar arrays or flight power systems
