💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team building systems for borrower repayment, payments, and collections at Earnest. You'll partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and Compliance to improve repayment performance and deliver a high-quality self-service experience. This role offers the chance to transform servicing into a strategic advantage through AI and operational efficiency.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead team building repayment, payments, and collections systems
• Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact initiatives
• Evolve servicing platform architecture for scalability and reliability
• Partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and Compliance
• Ensure reliability of mission-critical systems

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years leading teams
• strong full-stack foundation to guide architectural decisions
• experience building high-stakes systems (e.g., payments, servicing)

• fintech or regulated industry experience
• familiarity with servicing and collections metrics
• experience building internal tools or platforms for operations teams
