You'll lead the technical architecture for Verkada's new Intercom product line, working with a dynamic team of firmware, backend, and frontend engineers. You'll drive best-in-class products from concept to completion, tackling complex problems with no clear answers. This role offers ownership and autonomy like a startup within a startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set technical architecture for the Intercom product line
• Drive product ideas from concept to completion
• Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers
• Tackle large, complex problems with no clear answers

📋 Requirements

• BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science
• 10+ years of Linux development experience
• Proficient in C/C++
• Familiar with Linux servers, device drivers, kernel patches, and secure programming

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded Linux, cameras, and audio systems
• Familiarity with Yocto, Go, Python, and WebRTC
• Experience with Distributed Systems
