💼 About This Role

You'll be a hands-on technical leader driving evolution of global cloud and hybrid infrastructure and Kubernetes-based developer platform. You'll tackle hardest platform problems directly, designing systems and setting technical direction across multiple teams. Your work transforms our R&D environment into a hardened, cost-efficient, commercial backbone for rapid AV deployment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build major cloud architecture components (networking, storage, compute).
• Drive technical evolution of Kubernetes-based developer platform.
• Define and implement standards for SLIs, SLOs, observability, and failover.
• Design AI-native developer experiences integrating LLM tooling into CI and workflows.

📋 Requirements

• 9 years in Software or Infrastructure Engineering with senior IC capacity
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes internals and ecosystem (Operators, Crossplane, Argo, etc.)
• Proven track record designing or migrating workloads between on-prem data centers and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise in CI/CD orchestration and build systems (Bazel, RBE)
• Prior experience with large-scale ML training pipelines
• Open-source contributions to Kubernetes, observability, or infrastructure tooling ecosystems
