Description

You will support on-site and remote deployments of Shift5's platform across defense, rail, and aviation environments, handling installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations, requiring adaptability in dynamic, mission-critical settings.

Requirements

• Experience in field engineering, systems engineering, or technical support roles
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work hands-on with hardware/software systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to ~50% as needed
• Eligibility for a U.S. security clearance and possession of a valid U.S. passport required

Responsibilities

• Support on-site and remote deployments of Shift5's platform across rail, aviation, and defense environments
• Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems
• Partner with Engineering, Customer Success, and Program teams to ensure successful implementations
• Drive measurable impact in deployment success, system uptime, and customer satisfaction
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve deployment processes, documentation, and repeatability
