Description

You will provide technical support to MongoDB customers, troubleshooting complex issues across the entire MongoDB ecosystem, including database server, drivers, and management tools. You'll work on cross-functional teams to drive successful implementations of MongoDB on Kubernetes, design backup strategies for large-scale production environments, and contribute product feedback to shape the roadmap.

Requirements

• 2+ years administering RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL); MongoDB experience preferred
• 3+ years combined experience in managing Kubernetes clusters, DevOps/IaC, and Disaster Recovery
• 5+ years mixed experience with cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-prem infrastructure administration
• Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting aptitude with end-to-end production issue resolution
• Excellent communication skills and ability to think on your feet under pressure

Responsibilities

• Work with large customers to drive successful implementations of MongoDB Server, Search, and managed backups on Kubernetes
• Enhance troubleshooting expertise by working on customer use cases and Cloud infrastructure configurations
• Collaborate with enterprise customers to design and troubleshoot backup strategies for massive production environments (petabytes of data)
• Shape product roadmap by providing feedback on tools and core database
• Transition to permanent Wednesday-Sunday schedule after ramp-up, with weekends fully online
