Description

As a Consulting Engineer at MongoDB, you'll work with diverse customers across industries to help them succeed with MongoDB. You'll contribute to all phases of the application lifecycle, deliver training, and act as a trusted advisor, while collaborating with internal teams to influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development/consulting/support experience
• Competence in at least one programming language: Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, Ruby, Perl, Scala, Go
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer implementations across the application lifecycle
• Deliver classroom-based training to architect, developer, and operations roles
• Work as part of a wider delivery team with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams
• Cultivate reputation as a trusted advisor to guide customers
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence product roadmap
