💼 About This Role

You'll join the IP Legal team at Coupang to provide business consulting on copyright matters, minimizing IP risks across the company. You'll handle copyright issues including retail, open-source licensing, and AI while creating guidelines to enable business agility. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse copyright challenges and proactively improve compliance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide advice on all copyright matters including retail and licensing.
• Create and deploy guidelines to assist business teams.
• Handle copyright issues in Korea and abroad including music and AI.
• Identify compliance gaps and help with remediation.

📋 Requirements

• Domestic or foreign lawyer/patent attorney with IP experience in Korea.
• 6+ years relevant experience after license, with at least 3 years in copyright.
• Ability to balance swift response and diving deep.
• Provide business-friendly and practical solutions.

• In-house experience preferred.
• Commerce field experience preferred.
