Description
You will be embedded within in-house legal teams to advise on all aspects of government contracting, including contract formation, negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters with a leading alternative legal services provider.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years practicing law with a focus on government contracts
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and agency-specific regulations
- Knowledge of state and local procurement laws, regulations, and procedures
- Actively licensed and in good standing in a U.S. state
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on government contracting aspects including formation, negotiation, performance, and termination
- Assist with procurement processes including bid protests, RFPs, and contract disputes
- Provide counsel on compliance with FAR, DFARS, certifications, and reporting requirements
- Support state and local government contracting including bid preparation and contract administration
- Advise on regulatory compliance with state and local procurement laws
