Description

You will be embedded within in-house legal teams to advise on all aspects of government contracting, including contract formation, negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters with a leading alternative legal services provider.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years practicing law with a focus on government contracts
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and agency-specific regulations
  • Knowledge of state and local procurement laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Actively licensed and in good standing in a U.S. state

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on government contracting aspects including formation, negotiation, performance, and termination
  • Assist with procurement processes including bid protests, RFPs, and contract disputes
  • Provide counsel on compliance with FAR, DFARS, certifications, and reporting requirements
  • Support state and local government contracting including bid preparation and contract administration
  • Advise on regulatory compliance with state and local procurement laws
