Description

You will operate PCB assembly machines to manufacture circuit boards, run thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware, and thoroughly document failure modes to improve quality. You'll also ensure production equipment is maintained and calibrated, manage schedule priorities, and perform component kitting and measurement.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of hands-on work experience with electromechanical tools, assembly, or testing
• Ability to read and interpret layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists
• Proficient use of PC, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite, ERP and related programs
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate PCB assembly machines including SMT placement, reflow, paste printer, conformal coat, masking, epoxy application, coating, optical and x-ray inspection
• Run thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware including setup, instrumentation, test execution, teardown, and troubleshooting
• Thoroughly document failure modes and use data to continually improve quality
• Ensure production equipment is maintained and calibrated via scheduled preventative maintenance
• Manage schedule priorities and independently execute work to meet company deliverables
