Description

You'll handle finance queries via a ticketing system, manage invoicing and refunds, assist with debt collection, and perform other finance-related tasks while working in a mission-driven, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

• Accounting related degree and/or at least level 1 of ACCA/CPA (or any other equivalent qualification)
• Basic understanding of finance process
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of G-Suite, Excel and Accounting software would be a definite advantage.
• Proactive, good communicator and self-starter
• Ability to work in diverse teams and under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage finance queries via a ticketing system by responding regularly and properly to students, sponsors and stakeholders queries.
• Escalate invoicing, credit notes and students refunds queries to relevant team members and ensure they are sorted out on time.
• Maintain excellent working relations with finance customers.
• Escalate any discrepancies related to finance accounts.
• Assist in debt collection to minimize overall account receivables outstanding debt.
• Send statements of account to students where required and follow up on payment.
• Any other finance related ad-hoc duties to support the Finance Team.
