Description

You will provide legal guidance on novel issues in TV streaming, working closely with Product and Engineering to manage legal risk while advancing business goals. You'll advise on privacy and data security, ensure compliance with consumer protection laws, and help develop scalable processes for product launches.

Requirements

• 10+ years as a practicing attorney
• Significant in-house experience advising on data privacy and product development in technology
• Strong working knowledge of global privacy and data security laws
• Familiarity with content and digital product distribution agreements (MVPD, DMVPD, app development)
• Pragmatic problem-solving and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

• Work with Product and Engineering to manage legal risk in consumer electronics and streaming platform
• Advise on privacy and data security terms for content and digital product distribution agreements
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international privacy, data protection, and consumer protection laws
• Review user flows, product features, advertising collateral, and user-facing communications
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units including user experience, devices, mobile, web, ad product, and engineering
