Description

As a Senior Billing Analyst, you will own end-to-end billing for a portfolio of European entities and customers, ensuring compliance with contracts and EU regulations. You will handle complex billing questions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements. Your work directly supports cash flow and customer satisfaction in a leading B2B order-to-cash software company.

Requirements

• 5+ years in billing, AR, revenue operations, or related operational finance role; SaaS or tech preferred
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition under US GAAP and IFRS as they relate to billing
• Ability to work independently across time zones, prioritize, and meet deadlines in high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail with track record of identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Clear professional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process invoices ensuring accuracy and alignment with contracts and service delivery
• Review customer contracts to interpret billing terms such as milestones, usage thresholds, and discount structures
• Ensure billing compliance with EU VAT, tax documentation, currency, and statutory invoicing rules
• Perform detailed customer account reviews to confirm billable activity captured per ASC 606
• Support special projects like system migrations, pricing changes, and integration efforts impacting EU billing
