Description

In this role, you will innovate and maintain Contentful's underlying storage infrastructure and adjacent services, directly impacting customer experience with scalability and performance features. You'll work with a collaborative team in the infrastructure group, designing and developing foundational systems that handle billions of requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development and systems engineering
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Thorough AWS knowledge (RDS, S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS)
• Terraform and Kubernetes expertise
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Go

Responsibilities

• Design and develop content storage infrastructure
• Work with AWS using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Collaborate with teams in content storage and delivery domains
• Develop and maintain services in TypeScript and Go
• Anticipate and mitigate operational risks and bottlenecks
