💼 About This Role
You'll provide same-day ultrasound scans for emergency pets, working closely with doctors at VEG hospitals. Your work ensures rapid diagnostics when pets need it most. You'll also coordinate ultrasound training and education programs across regional hospitals, helping teams grow their skills.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate training at home and regional hospitals.
- Maintain relationships with teleconsultation radiologists and accept feedback.
- Track doctor and nursing team skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist.
- Coordinate weekly schedule with hospital manager and medical director.
📋 Requirements
- Credentialed as Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience.
- Previous training experience and patience to teach.
- Willingness to travel to regional hospitals and off-site training facilities.
✨ Nice to Have
- Diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) certification.
- Experience developing ultrasound curriculum material.
- Adaptability to changing environments.
