💼 About This Role

You'll design and build the data backbone for an AI recruiting platform, owning scalable data pipelines and search infrastructure. This is a high-ownership role where you'll shape the architecture from day one, with direct customer impact and zero legacy systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build batch and streaming data pipelines for core platform
• Develop ingestion, enrichment, and indexing workflows across data types
• Optimize PostgreSQL for advanced SQL, replication, and query performance
• Manage search and retrieval pipelines in OpenSearch/Elasticsearch

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering or backend/data platform engineering in production
• Strong Python programming skills
• Deep PostgreSQL experience including advanced SQL, schema design, query tuning, sharding, replication
• Strong OpenSearch/Elasticsearch experience including indexing strategy, search performance, relevance tuning at very large scale

• Experience with Kafka or event-driven systems
• Experience with vector search or AI/ML data pipelines
• Experience with workflow orchestration and async processing
