Description

You will join a quant research team at Point72, developing modern NLP solutions including LLMs, agents, and RAG to derive alpha from rich textual datasets. Responsibilities include exploring internal and external data, formulating research hypotheses, and building GenAI solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master’s or PhD in computer science or quantitative discipline
• Experience in NLP, particularly LLMs
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and software engineering principles
• Data science stack familiarity
• Interest in financial markets

Responsibilities

• Explore and combine rich internal and external textual datasets
• Formulate research hypotheses to derive alpha
• Build GenAI solutions using internal models and external APIs
